The most illustrious Belgian motorsport driver, Jacky Ickx (77), only applauds that the importance of Stoffel Vandoorne (30) is appreciated, as reigning Formula E world champion and soon as Aston Martin’s test and reserve driver in Formula 1. “He deserves appreciation: chapeau, Stoffel, chapeau.” But will it be his (re)step to Formula 1? That remains a dream for now.
