Two-time F1 champion Fernando Alonso has given more explanation about his choice in response to the announcement of his switch from Alpine to Aston Martin.
“This Aston Martin team has the same energy and dedication as I do to win and that’s why it’s one of the most exciting teams in Formula 1 right now,” said Alonso in response to the announcement of his move from Alpine to Aston Martin.
“I have known Lawrence and Lance for many years and it is very clear that they are very ambitious and have the passion to be successful in Formula 1.”
“I have seen how the team has systematically attracted great people and I am also aware of the enormous dedication that goes into it, especially given the new facilities and resources being deployed at Silverstone.”
“Nobody in Formula 1 shows a greater vision and absolute commitment to win, which makes it an exciting opportunity for me.”
“I still have the hunger and ambition to compete at the front, I want to be part of an organization that wants to learn, develop and be successful.”
