“Sir Frank was one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in this sport,” Hamilton wrote on social media with some photos of his compatriot. “He always had time for me and was always without judgment. I am honored to call him a friend,” said the seven-time world champion, who, among other things, shared a photo with Williams from his early days in Formula 1, when Hamilton was still driving for McLaren. “What he has achieved in this sport is really something special. I know that he has remained a racer and a fighter at heart until his last days. I have the utmost respect for this man. His legacy will live on forever.
