The Alpine A110 has been on the market since 2018. The compact sports car is not a pronounced success, but nevertheless more than 140 have been sold in the Netherlands. Currently, the A110 is available in two flavors: with 252 hp and with 292 hp (the A110 S). The first one will remain the same after the interim update. The second gets a modest horsepower injection from Alpine.

Alpine A110 still with 252 hp

The new A110 can be ordered immediately in three variants: the existing A110, the brand new A110 GT and the upgraded A110 S. Little will change under the skin of the first one. The entry-level Alpine still has a 1.8-liter turbo engine with 252 hp and 320 Nm. It goes unchanged to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and weighs just over 1,100 kilograms.

A grand tourer model from Alpine

Then the Alpine A110 GT, which is intended as grand tourer of the bunch. It has the stronger engine (now 300 hp and 340 Nm) and the sports exhaust of the A110 S, but combines it with the regular A110 chassis. In addition, the GT is more luxuriously decorated, with more extras and leather upholstery in the interior. It goes from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

Alpine A110 S met top van 275 km/h

The A110 S is equally fast at the sprint, but can optionally be equipped with semi-slick tires, an aero kit and a higher top speed of 275 km/h. Only with a rear spoiler and front splitter does the Alpine have enough stability to stay on the straight track at that speed, according to design director Antony Villain.

Inside, it’s all a bit more spartan than the A110 GT: with Sabelt sports seats, a microfibre-finished interior and aluminum pedals. You get chattering teeth for free, because the already quite hard A110 is only made more unforgivable by the sports suspension of the A110 S.

New infotainment and two-tone paint

New for all A110s is the infotainment system with 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity and 2 USB connections. It is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are 8 body colors for the A110, A110 GT and A110 S. The A110 S can be delivered in two-tone: orange and black. 22 heritage colors are also available via Atelier Alpine.
