In the end, it was Sergio Perez who set the fastest time in the Red Bull F1 car and thus served Mercedes’ answer. Both Mercedes cars finished at the top during the first practice sessions, while now finishing third and fourth, behind Lando Norris who was second fastest. Max Verstappen had to settle for eighth fastest time.
