Good news for the GP of the Netherlands (September 5): on Tuesday Zandvoort, the circuit on which the GP of the Netherlands will be completed, was given an event permit.
As a result, the organization now has all the permits for the GP to take place in the first weekend in the Netherlands. The construction of the (rest of the) stands and other temporary structures such as tents can now be started.
Zandvoort is counting on a sold-out event, and hopes to welcome more than 100,000 Formula 1 fans a day on 3, 4 and 5 September. Max Verstappen will therefore be able to count on a home advantage.
