Facelift gives the popular Seat Arona a little more ‘face’ [update: prijzen]

The exterior changes are pretty obvious. The new Seat Arona has a larger grille with a different grille pattern, from now on standard LED headlights, more strikingly stylized bumpers front and rear. In addition, the Arona follows the trend of writing out the type name in the middle of the tailgate. As far as we’re concerned, the elegant letters detonate with the angular design.

Seat Arona Xperience met offroadelementen

New is the Seat Arona Xperience, which pretends to be an off-roader with its round fog lamps at the front and a slightly more rugged bodywork. Seat also offers other alloy wheels (17 and 18 inches) for the Arona and the color palette has been expanded with the shades of Dark Camouflage (dark gray), Asphalt Blue and Sapphire Blue.

Infotainment screen is now ‘loose’ fitted

Inside the Seat Arona, the dashboard has been overhauled; it would now be constructed of better materials. It is also striking that the screen of the infotainment system is no longer integrated in the center console, but has been put on ‘loosely’. Two variants are available: 8.25 inch and 9.20 inch. The updated infotainment system supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice commands.

Two petrol engines: with 95 hp and 110 hp

When the new Seat Arona comes on the market in the summer, it will be available in two engine versions: a 1.0 TSI with 95 hp (five-speed manual) or a 1.0 TSI with 110 hp (seven-speed DSG automatic). Optional on the Arona include Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Assist, with which the small SUV can drive partially autonomously.
