Mexican Pato O’Ward has won the second race of the Detroit GP in the American IndyCar championship on Sunday.
O’Ward started in his Arrow McLaren from 16th position and led only three of the 70 laps. He eventually overtook Josef Newgarden (Penske), who started from pole.
For 22-year-old O’Ward it is his second win of the season. Last month he won in Fort Worth (Texas). Spanish World Cup leader Alex Palou (Chip Ganassi) completed the podium. Former F1 driver Romain Grosjean retired after mechanical problems.
