Brussels resident Maxime Martien (Porsche) finished second on Saturday in the third race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series in Germany.
The third race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series, held exclusively at the Nürburgring Nordschleife with a mix of touring and grand touring cars, was dominated by Porsche. The Frikadelli team Earl Bamber / Mathieu Jaminet (NZ / Fra) won the race, while the Belgian Maxime Martin and his French teammate Patrick Pilet came second in the other Porsche of the Frikadelli team. Both cars were never more than a few seconds apart during the race. Earl Bamber and Mathieu Jaminet finished nine seconds ahead of the Belgian and his partner.
Dries Vanthoor and Frédéric Vervisch (Audi) finished in eighth place in the company of the German Frank Stippler, two minutes behind the winners.
