Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc received a very special gift at home today: the Ferrari F1 car with which he achieved his first two victories in 2019.
In the morning, Leclerc posted a photo of a car under a canvas on his Instagram story with the text: “Something special has been delivered to my home”.
A few hours later, a photo followed of the Ferrari SF90 with which Leclerc achieved his first two victories in Formula 1. Getting the F1 car with which you achieved your first F1 victory is one of the best gifts you can get as an F1 driver.
Leclerc took his first F1 victory at the Belgian GP. It was a fiercely fought and very emotional first victory in Formula 1 because the day before, F2 driver Anthoine Hubert had died after a terrible crash. Leclerc therefore dedicated his first victory to Hubert.
Barely a week later, Leclerc took his second victory on the legendary high-speed circuit of Monza in the same Ferrari SF90. It was the first Ferrari victory in almost ten years and that created a crazy scene for the Tifosi.
In addition to two wins, Leclerc also captured seven pole positions during the 2019 F1 season.
