The still unnamed electric Seat – which we wrote about a few days ago – will not go on sale until 2025. There will also be – as we interpret the press information from Seat – a Volkswagen and Skoda version. “Our ambition is to produce more than 500,000 electric city cars per year in Barcelona, also for the Volkswagen Group,” said Seat CEO Wayne Griffiths. “About 70 years ago we put Spain on wheels. Now we want to electromobilize Spain.”
There will probably be a Skoda version of the Volkswagen ID.3
Skoda boss Thomas Schäfer told Automotive News that there will be a compact electric car under the Skoda Enyaq. He did not want to say whether it will be a variant of the Volkswagen ID.3, but that the model is / is being developed together with the other Volkswagen brands. So it is likely that it is just an ID.3 derivative. In addition, we assume that smaller EVs from Skoda will also be available: a successor to the Skoda Citigo-e iV, for example.
Electric Skoda Enyaq iV is available from 40,780 euros
The latter is no longer available. Which means that the only electric car in the Skoda delivery program is currently the Enyaq. It is technically the same as the Volkswagen ID.4 and is available in two variants: 58 kWh (180 hp, 390 km range) and 77 kWh (204 hp, 537 km range). The Skoda Enyaq iV is available from 40,780 euros. For the base model of the Volkswagen ID.4 you have to pay at least 40,690 euros. But that version has only a 52-kWh battery, an output of 148 hp and a range of 344 kilometers.
