Spaniard Marc Marquez, the six-time world champion in MotoGP who is back on the road nine months ago after a fracture in the right upper arm, crawled back on a Honda on Tuesday at the circuit in Montmelo, Catalonia. This is evident from photos on social media.

28-year-old Marquez broke his right upper arm in a crash in last year’s first race in Jerez on July 19. He underwent surgery, but forced the plate placed in his arm when opening a window. A second intervention was therefore necessary. He then sat on the side all season and watched his fellow countryman Joan Mir take the title in the motorsport premier class after an exciting battle.

The motorcycle racer is still registered for the opening race of the season, the Grand Prix of Qatar on March 28. However, it is highly uncertain whether the Spaniard will actually celebrate his return.

“It is very important that I listen to the doctors and my body. I only get on the bike when I am 100 percent fit and I still have some work to do to get there, ”Marquez said earlier.
