The Motocross World Championship starts on May 23 with the Grand Prix of the Netherlands in Oss. Initially, the start was planned for April 3 in Oman, but the corona crisis has changed the plans.
Oman would open the World Cup as a newcomer, but the match is postponed by a year. The Grand Prix that were scheduled in Italy, Portugal and Germany in April and May have been moved to October.
The organization further confirmed the locations for the two GPs in Indonesia, on July 4 in Borobudur and a week later in Bali.
The Belgian GP in Lommel keeps its date on August 1.
There are nineteen races on the menu. The Motocross of Nations will be held on September 26, but not in Monza as planned. The location will be determined later.
World Cup promoter Youthstream hopes to organize competitions with the public despite the corona pandemic.
