The existing Volkswagen ID.4 with a 77 kWh battery has an output of 204 hp and can reach a maximum distance of 521 kilometers. On the 52 kWh model, that range drops to a maximum of 344 kilometers. The new entry-level vehicle is available in two power variants: 148 hp and 170 hp (surcharge: 1500 euros). Both are allowed to tow a trailer up to a weight of 1000 kilos. Charging is done at a speed of up to 100 kW. The 77 kWh version can reach 125 kW on the fast charger.

The Volkswagen ID.4 52 kWh City costs 40,690 euros, stands on 18-inch light-alloy wheels and is equipped with the Comfort package (2-zone automatic air conditioning, steering wheel and front seat heating) and Multimedia package (Discover Pro infotainment system) as standard. . The two trim level is called Style and costs 44,990 euros. As additional options, it offers 3-zone automatic air conditioning, a variable load floor, velor upholstery, mood lighting, LED rear lights and LED matrix headlights, a reversing camera and keyless entry in go.
